Here you can find out more about the huge range of poets we feature in our pamphlets and the artists whose work appears on our beautiful covers.
We’ve now published poems by over 850 historical and contemporary poets. In our pages you’ll find old favourites alongside twenty-first century voices – everyone from WH Auden to Belinda Zhawi. Although our emphasis is on British poetry, you’ll also find Irish, American and Australian writers. We hope these pages will encourage you to explore further the work of a poet you’ve enjoyed in one of our pamphlets.-
Linda Hogan
Linda Hogan was born in Denver, Colorado and is the Chickasaw Nation Writer-In-Residence. She is a novelist, essayist and environmentalist and has published several collections of poetry, many of which reflect her spiritual and environmental concerns. Dark. Sweet. New and Selected Poems was published in 2014.

Emily Hogarth
Emily Hogarth is a Scottish designer and illustrator living and working in Edinburgh. Her work seeks to capture the magic of the Scottish landscape and its wildlife. She makes papercuts, creating stand-alone pieces of art as well as screen prints, fabric designs and stationery. She completed a Masters Degree at Edinburgh College of Art in 2008.

Matthew Hollis
Matthew Hollis was born in Norwich in 1971, and is an author and editor. His first poetry collection, Ground Water, was published in 2004 and was shortlisted for the Guardian First Book Award, the Whitbread Prize for Poetry and the Forward Prize. His biography of the poet Edward Thomas, Now All Roads Lead to France, won the Costa Biography Award and the H. W. Fisher Biography Prize.

Geoffrey Holloway
Geoffrey Holloway (1918 – 1997) was a poet and social worker. He was a pacifist but as a member of the Royal Army Medical Corps was parachuted into France on D-Day and also took part in the Rhine Landings – experiences that informed his first collection Rhine Jump. For the last 45 years of his life he lived and worked in Cumbria, publishing his last book shortly before his death. The Collected Poems of Geoffrey Holloway, edited by David Morley, was published by Arrowhead Press in 2007.

Kevin Holloway
Kevin Holloway was born in south London, grew up in the West Midlands and now lives in Bradford, Yorkshire. Kevin has worked in schools, colleges, and universities in the north of England. His writing is currently focused on a collection of poetry with the working title ‘Out of Place’.

Emy Lou Holmes
Emy Lou Holmes is an artist who studied illustration at the University of the West of England. Her work is informed by her interest in photography and vintage textiles. She also produces greetings cards, stationery and homeware – often depicting local scenes in and around Bristol and Bath.
