Tom Marioni

Tom Marioni is an American artist and educator who was actively involved in the emergence of the Conceptual Art movement in the 1960s. He founded the Museum of Conceptual Art which operated in San Francisco from 1970 – 1984.  The Act of Drinking Beer with Friends is the Highest Form of Art was published by Crown Point Press in 1970. A memoir Beer, Art and Philosophy was published in 2004.
